Youm-i-Tashakur celebrated at the Embassy

The Embassy of Pakistan, Tashkent organized ‘Youm-i-Tashakur’ celebrations to mark the success of Operation Bunyan-ul-Marsoos and pay tribute to valiant armed forces and nation of Pakistan. The event was attended by large number of resident Pakistani community and staff of the Embassy.

The ceremony commenced with recitation of the Holy Qura’n and National Anthem. Defence Attache of the Embassy apprised the audience about Indian aggression and contours of Operation Bunyan-ul-Marsoos. Representatives from the resident community also took the floor to express their sentiments. Lastly, Ambassador of Pakistan H.E. Ahmed Farooq addressed the gathering which cumulated with prayers for peace, longevity and progress of Pakistan and its people. 

On this occasion, it was reiterated that Pakistan is fully capable of defending its borders and its people and that the people of Pakistan stand in unity with their armed forces to fend off any aggression against their beloved homeland.
