Born in 1975 in Lahore. Holds Masters degree in Economics from Government College Lahore. Joined Foreign Service of Pakistan in 2001. Served at Headquarters as Assistant Director (2002-2003), Director (2009-2013 and Deputy Chief of Protocol, Camp Office, Lahore (2013-2019) and Director General, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Camp Office (January-October 2019). Held diplomatic assignment in Pakistan’s Permanent Mission at United Nations, New York (2003-2009). Served as Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of Pakistan, Beijing from 2019-2023. Presently, he is serving as Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Uzbekistan since March 2023. He is married, with two children.
