Chauffeur/Driver

The Embassy of Pakistan in Tashkent is seeking a professional and experienced Chauffeur/Driver for the Embassy. Interested candidates are invited to submit their detailed resumes/CVs to [email protected].

Detailed Job Description

The Chauffeur/Driver would be responsible for the following,

• Driving the official vehicles of the Embassy in a professional and safe manner;
• Maintaining official vehicles in an excellent working condition, including regular cleaning and maintenance of the vehicles, maintaining a logbook for vehicles etc.;
• Planning of routes to venues for official visits/appointments/commitments of the Embassy ;
• Ensuring punctuality for all engagements;
• Coordinating with the Embassy staff for scheduling of the movement of vehicles;
• Ensuring compliance with local traffic rules and safety regulations.
• Any other duty assigned by the Ambassador or the Embassy.

Criteria:

• Age between 25-45 years.
• At least High school Education.
• Must have a valid Uzbek Driving License and an excellent driving record.
• At least 3 to 5 years of professional driving experience. Experience of working with diplomats, international organizations, and/or senior executives will be preferred.
• Basic communication skills in Uzbek/Russian and English. Ability to communicate in Urdu will be an asset.
• Must be a local resident with good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
