Participation of Pakistan in the SAMBO Asia & Oceania Championships 2025

Two Pakistani athletes participated in the SAMBO Asia & Oceania Championships 2025 held in Tashkent on 14-20 April 2025. This was the first ever participation of Pakistan in any SAMBO international championship ensuring the lasting presence of Pakistan in international SAMBO competitions.

The Pakistani team consisting of athletes, their coach and manager also visited the Embassy of Pakistan, Tashkent and called on the Ambassador H.E. Ahmed Farooq. The Ambassador appreciated Pakistan’s participation in the SAMBO Asia & Oceania Championships and highlighted that Sports is one of the oldest and finest modes of enhancing people-to-people contacts.
