Kashmir Solidarity Day Observed

Kashmir Solidarity Day 2025 was commemorated at Embassy of Pakistan, Tashkent. The event commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by National Anthem and messages of the President and the Prime Minister. A large number of Pakistani citizens residing in Uzbekistan participated in the event and expressed their unwavering support for the just and valiant struggle of Kashmiri people to attain their inalienable right of self-determination.

While commenting on the occasion, Ambassador of Pakistan to Uzbekistan H.E. Ahmed Farooq appreciated the sentiment of the Pakistani people denouncing the illegal and brutal occupation of India on land and people of Jammu & Kashmir.

On this occasion a photo exhibition highlighting the Indian atrocities to curb Kashmiri freedom struggle was also held. Uzbek nationals participating in the event were apprised about the history as well as current status of Kashmir issue.
