Kashmir Solidarity Day 2024 was commemorated at Pakistan Embassy, Tashkent today. The event commenced with recitation from the Holy Quran followed by National Anthem, messages of the President and the Prime Minister, speeches of community members and remarks of the Ambassador. A brief documentary and an anthem were also played displaying the plight of innocent Kashmiris. The participants paid rich tribute to the just and valiant struggle of Kashmiri people to attain their inalienable right of self-determination.
On this occasion a photo exhibition highlighting the Indian atrocities to curb Kashmiri freedom struggle was also held. Uzbek nationals participating in the event were apprised about the history as well as current status of Kashmir issue.
