Iqbal Day celebrated at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies

Iqbal Day was celebrated at the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS). The event was presided over by Rector of TSUOS, Ms. Gulchehra Rakhsiyeva with Ambassador of Pakistan H.E. Ahmed Farooq as the chief guest. Professor Dr. Faleeha Kazmi, Vice Chancellor Uni of Home Economics, Lahore participated through video link as the guest speaker.

The program included students of Urdu department speaking on the life and works of Allama Iqbal along with recitation of his poetry.

Students also performed on melodies derived from the poetry of Allama Iqbal as well as national songs of Pakistan.
