Flag Hoisting at the Embassy of Pakistan, Tashkent

The National Flag was hoisted at the Embassy of Pakistan, Tashkent on the occasion of Independence Day of Pakistan. The event was attended by a large number of resident Pakistani community, Convener of the Pakistan-Uzbekistan Parliamentary Friendship Group, MNA Syed Rafiullah and by the participants of Central Asia Rally-2025.

Flag hoisting ceremony commenced with the recitation of the Holy Qura’n. The Ambassador of Pakistan, H.E. Ahmed Farooq then raised the flag to the tune of national anthem. Messages of the President and the Prime Minister were read to the attendees which were followed by the speeches of the Ambassador, the MNA as well as of the leader of the bikers of Central Asia Rally-2025. Mr. Akhter Amin spoke on behalf of the resident Pakistani community expressing their sentiments on Independence Day and Marka-e-Haq.

The Ambassador welcomed and congratulated the guests on Independence Day. In his remarks, he acknowledged Pakistan’s victory in Marka-e-Haq and the role of Pakistan’s armed forces in defending the homeland against the enemy. He maintained that with unity, faith and discipline, as said by the Qauid, Pakistani nation can surmount any challenge.

At the end of the ceremony, Ambassador distributed the certificates amongst the participants of Central Asia Rally-2025 who had travelled to Uzbekistan via road from Lahore.
