  Embassy of Pakistan, Tashkent participated in the 16th session of the General Assembly of the International Institute of Central Asian Studies (IICAS) today. Pakistan observed the proceedings as Vice Chairman.

Ambassador, along with Rector of the TSUOS, inaugurated the Study Center named after Uzbek Urdu scholar, Tashmirza Kholmurzayev in the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOU) on 25 October 2023. The TSUOS has a Department of Urdu Language, Literature, History and Culture of Pakistan.

Ambassador H.E. Ahmed Farooq @ahmedfarooqpk attended the Seminar ‘Inter-Cultural Dialogue in Modern World’ organized by the SCO Center for Public Diplomacy. In his remarks, the Ambassador highlighted the cultural, linguistic and spiritual ties between Pakistan and Uzbekistan.
