Ambassador’s Lecture at the Young Public Diplomacy Summit

The Ambassador of Pakistan to Uzbekistan, H.E. Ahmed Farooq delivered a lecture to the participants of Young Public Diplomacy Summit held by the Centre for Strategy and Cultural Diplomacy of Pakistan in collaboration with Tashkent State University of Law (TSUL) in Tashkent. The audience included a diverse group of young professionals and students from different countries and backgrounds including from India, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan.
The Ambassador emphasized on the role of public and cultural diplomacy in interstate relations, how it has evolved over years and how development of new technologies is going to impact it. The lecture was followed by an hour-long question and answer session related to diplomacy, statecraft and Ambassador’s personal gatherings as a career diplomat.
The participants as well as TSUL extended their gratitude for the Ambassador’s remarks and presence.
