36th Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce Industry International Achievement Awards (RIAA)

The 36th RCCI International Achievement Awards (RIAA) were held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on 10 November 2025, bringing together prominent business leaders, industrialists, and investors from both Pakistan and Uzbekistan.

The ceremony was attended by H.E. Kurdatov Laziz Shavkatovich, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan, as the Chief Guest, along with H.E. Ambassador Ahmed Farooq of Pakistan, and senior representatives of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI).

In his remarks, Minister Kudratov Laziz Shavkatovich lauded the growing business partnership between Pakistan and Uzbekistan and identified key areas for future collaboration, including fruits and vegetables, textiles, pharmaceuticals, tourism and information technology.

Ambassador Ahmed Farooq, in his address, commended RCCI’s initiative to hold the event in Tashkent, noting that it reflected the growing depth of Pakistan-Uzbekistan economic relations. He highlighted the importance of sustained business-to-business interaction for strengthening bilateral trade and economic linkages.

The ceremony recognized the achievements of leading Pakistani and Uzbek entrepreneurs and institutions, followed by distribution of awards and Uzbek cultural performances.
