Reception of Uzbekistan’s U-19 Cricket team at the Embassy

U-19 players of Uzbekistan Cricket Federation are to undergo training in Pakistan. Before their departure, the Embassy of Pakistan, Tashkent hosted a reception for these teams.

On this occasion, the CEO of the Cricket Federation of Uzbekistan, Mr. Fazliddin thanked the Ambassador for hosting the players and their coaches in the Embassy and expressed optimism about the future of collaboration between Pakistan and Uzbekistan in the field of sports, especially Cricket.

The Ambassador of Pakistan to Uzbekistan H.E. Ahmed Farooq welcomed the guests and emphasised that this is a significant step in enhancing people to people contact between Pakistan and Uzbekistan. He also appreciated the arrangement of a training camp in Pakistan for the Uzbek players.

The group from the Cricket Federation of Uzbekistan was introduced to the Cricket history of Pakistan and Pakistani cuisine.
