Lecture of the Ambassador at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, Tashkent

The Ambassador of Pakistan to Uzbekistan, H.E. Ahmed Farooq delivered a lecture at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, Tashkent on ‘Challenges and Opportunities for Cooperation between Central Asia and South Asian Subcontinent’. The audience included students from International Relations, International Law and International Economy. Faculty of the University also attended the lecture.

The Ambassador dwelled upon the importance of connectivity in today’s world and the possibilities that cooperation between Central and South Asia entails for their peoples. He also highlighted the pivotal role that Pakistan and Uzbekistan have in bringing the together the two regions. He further discussed the current status and prospects of cooperation between Pakistan and Uzbekistan in the field of trade and connectivity.

The lecture was followed by an elaborate question and answer session in which the students asked about the shifts in current global order and regional situations.
