Memorial Gathering Dedicated to Rahmonberdi Muhammadjonov

The Embassy of Pakistan, Tashkent participated in an event organized on the 30^th death anniversary of Rahmonberdi Muhammadjonov, a renowned Urdu Scholar and recipient of the Presidential ‘Pride of Performance’ Award of Pakistan. The event was organized by the Department of Urdu Language, Literature and History of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.

            On the occasion, the Deputy Head of the Mission appreciated the efforts of the Urdu Department in promotion of Urdu language in Uzbekistan. She also assured the attendees of Embassy’s full support in the activities of TSUOS related to teaching and promoting Urdu language and Pakistan’s history.
