With immense pleasure I extend heartiest felicitations to the people and Government of Uzbekistan on its independence anniversary.
In a short span of thirty-two years, Uzbekistan has flourished in all fields. It has developed itself into a trading and connectivity hub of Central Asia. We are confident that it would continue its journey of development and prosperity with the same zeal and fervour.
Pakistan-Uzbekistan relations span not over decades but over centuries. Our relations date back to the ancient Silk Roads and Timurid Kingdom. Our common cultural heritage is a continuum of our shared history. Both countries are committed to strengthen the ancient bond further.
Once again I wish peace, prosperity and joy for our Uzbek bothers.
