Important Information related to COVID-19 related Travel Restrictions in Uzbekistan
The government of the Republic of Uzbekistan has introduced new regulations for visitors arriving from Pakistan and India. In accordance with Resolution No.7/223 dated 10 August 2021 of the Uzbek government’s Special Republican Commission to fight the spread of coronavirus, following measures have come into effect from 10th August 2021:
- All visitors arriving in Uzbekistan from Pakistan and India with negative PCR tests would be required to undergo a 14-day quarantine in designated hotels.
- In case of detection of coronavirus, the visitors will be placed in official designated quarantine hospitals.
- The citizens of Pakistan and India can now visit Uzbekistan only using the services of a tour operator.
- ·Uzbek citizens arriving from Pakistan and India will be quarantined at their homes.
All Pakistani citizens intending to travel to Uzbekistan are requested to kindly take into account the above-mentioned new measures before finalizing their travel plan for Uzbekistan.
