National Anthem
National Anthem of Pakistan
National anthem of Pakistan is a harmonious composition of three-stanzas with a tune based on eastern music. Verses of the Anthem were penned by Abu Al-Asar Hafeez Jallundhri, who is well known for his melodious poetry. Tune of the anthem was composed by Ahmed G. Chagla, a famous musician and composer. Twenty-one musical instruments and thirty-eight different tones are used to play the National Anthem of Pakistan.
The Anthem is a unique piece of Urdu poetry which encapsulates the essence of Pakistan, its Islamic foundation, ideology, ethos, and aspirations.

پاک سرزمین شاد باد كشور حسين شاد باد
تو نشان عزم علیشان ارض پاکستان
مرکز یقین شاد باد
پاک سرزمین کا نظام قوت اخوت عوام
قوم ، ملک ، سلطنت پائندہ تابندہ باد
شاد باد منزل مراد
پرچم ستارہ و هلال رہبر ترقی و کمال
ترجمان ماضی شان حال جان استقبال
سایۂ خدائے ذوالجلال

Pak Sarzamin Shaad Baad Kishwar-e-Haseen Shaad Baad
Tu Nishane Azm, Aalishan Arz-e-Pakistan
Markaz-e-Yaqin Shaad Baad.
Pak Sarzamin Ka Nizaam Quwate, Akhuwate Awaam
Qaum, Mulk, Sultanat Painda tabinda Baad
Shaad Baad Manzil-e-Muraad.
Parcham-e-Sitara-o-Hilal Rahbar-e-Tarraqi-o-Kamaal
Tarjuman-e-Mazi, Shan-e-Hal Jaan-e-Istaqbaal
Sayya-e-KHUDA-e-ZULJALAL.
Translation
Blessed be the sacred land, Happy be the bounteous realm,
Symbol of high resolve , Land of Pakistan
Blessed be thou citadel of faith
The Order of this Sacred Land, Is the might of the brotherhood of the people
May the nation, the country and the State, Shine in glory everlasting
Blessed be the goal of our ambition
