4th CIS – Islamic Banking and Finance Forum

4^th CIS – Islamic Banking and Finance Forum was organised by the AlHuda Centre of Islamic Banking and Economics (CIBE) in Tashkent on 16 June 2025. The Forum was attended by representatives of more than ten Islamic financing and banking companies from the Central Asia. Ambassador of Pakistan to Uzbekistan H.E. Ahmed Farooq inaugurated the Forum as Chief Guest and distributed the certificates of appreciation amongst the participants.

In his keynote speech, the Ambassador highlighted the salient features of Islamic Banking, importance of Shariah in people’s economic affairs and its impact on the society as a whole. He also highlighted Pakistan’s achievements in the field of Islamic Finance and expressed readiness for sharing that rich experience for the promotion of Islamic Finance elsewhere.

AlHuda CIBE thanked the Ambassador for his support and gracing the occasion.
