3rd Round of Pakistan- Uzbekistan Bilateral Political Consultations

The 3rd session of Pakistan-Uzbekistan Bilateral Political Consultations (BPC) was held in Tashkent on 5 February 2025. BPC is a key important mechanism that helps to comprehensively review Pakistan-Uzbekistan bilateral relations and to explore new areas of cooperation.

Pakistan delegation was led by Additional Foreign Secretary (Afghanistan & West Asia), Syed Ali Asad Gillani. The First Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan, Mr. Bakhromjon Juraboyevich Aloyev led the Uzbek delegation.

The consultations centered on the entire gamut of bilateral relations and identified opportunities and possibilities for further cooperation in political, economic, investment, connectivity, education and people-to-people ties.

The two sides expressed satisfaction at the upward trajectory of bilateral cooperation between the two countries and reiterated their commitment to further strengthen the unique fraternal ties and transform them into a rewarding multifaceted cooperation.

Besides the co-chairing the main session of the BPC, the Additional Foreign Secretary also held meetings in the Ministries of Investment, Industry & Trade and Transport of Uzbekistan.
